How To Play

Survive as long as possible.  Effect Cards are dealt into the Formation Slots into your hand. The slots in your hand define the Area of Effect of the  Effect Card placed in it, as well as applies additional effects to all cards played from the slot. You may freely swap Effect Cards in their slots, even ones on cooldown.

After you play an Effect Card, the Formation Slot goes on cooldown for a set amount of ticks, while the enemies resume attacking. The Effect Card you play also determines the number of ticks before your next play - stronger cards make you wait longer.

Upon leveling up, you will be presented with upgrades to the Formation Slots, either reducing the cooldown of that slot, or adding a new bonus effect to that slot.
